Wild is an exhibition about our relationship with the natural world. Definitions of this relationship are represented differently across cultures and time but the thread connecting them is a degree of control over nature: from romantic landscape artists gazing out across semi-fictional landscapes, to indigenous groups restoring their ancestral lands after a damaging colonial legacy, to communities rewilding small parts of urban Manchester.
